Review my Dog (or other assorted pet)

There's a new blog in town (isn't there always a new blog in town?) - Forest's Blog about Animals. Apparently birds chirp, bloggers blog, and Forest blogs about bloggers' pets... and other assorted animals.

Expect animal profiles, weird and funny videos and images. Animals news and facts. Observations, personal and reader submitted photos. Links to other blog stories and the odd product review and much more.

Personally, we have a thing for ducks and pigeons, but can appreciate the fact that most people are into dogs and cats. Forest's blog is actually quite humourous and takes the spotlight off of making money online, internet marketing, and even the bloggers themselves.

For example, Pinko the Puggle belongs to Lynne of the Sewing Mom. And by offering to write about bloggers' pets, instead of bloggers' blogs, Forest adds a whole new twist to the phrase, review blog.

It's a lot nicer than the shameless review blog approach that we take here at Floccinaucinihilipilificatious Information. (Can you say our name yet?)

Best of luck!

An Adventure to Make Money Online

WebDiggin is (yet another) adventure to make money online. In an interesting twist, it's claim to fame is the fact that it is currently loosing money. "And, that makes all the difference."

Their first post was in May 2007. By Mar, 2008, they had made $1539.06 in commissions, but lost $1699.41 in advertising and web costs. So, overall, their site has a loss of $160.36.

Having said that, they've made around $100 per month profit for the last 3 months. Their biggest losses were in 2007 while they were still learning, so it seems that something is going right and perhaps one day they will be a money maker.

That attitude of one day succeeding seems to be what drives WebDiggin:
Isn't losing money a bad thing? Normally, yes. But it also shows that we're real and we're learning, and one day, we'll make it because that's the kind of people we are.
So, from experimenting with affiliate marketing, PPC search marketing, and Google Adsense, this blog is following the road often traveled. We smiled when we saw that they were paying people to be their friends with a $25 subscription contest.

We'll have to see how long they're able to pay their friends. That will reduce their monthly profits, but it may be a way to get readership up.

I can't even say the name of your blog

Flocci-what? Look. I can't even say the name of your blog!

Floccinaucinihilipilificatious Information. (flok-suh-naw-suh-nahy-hil-uh-pil-uh-fi-key-shus. It sounds like this:
)

It means guessing that something is worthless. We were going to go with Floccinaucinihilipilification, but someone had already taken that domain name.

Still, Floccinaucinihilipilificatious Information ain't bad for a blog that reviews other blogs.

Why did we pick such a wierd name?

Well, why not? I'm sure lots of people in the world feel that the internet doesn't need yet another blog reviewing other websites.

But we beg to differ. The world doesn't need more babies, but people still keep on having them.

So, in the spirit of making babies, we're going to share our views on the world. Right here. In this blog. You're welcome to read our blog. In fact, we'll pay you to be our friend.

And, a little floccinaucinihilipilificatious information never hurt anybody.
